Editorial
Plastic bags are a true menace to our ecosystems. At least 267species died of eating plastic, especially sea turtles who may mistake them for jellyfish, their main food source. I, first, got an image of a plastic bag, and repeated images to emphasize how much people use plastic bags. (Approximately 400 plastic bags are used per second in the states.) Then, I added dead sea turtles, and sea otters with plastic bag on its neck.

Personal Narrative
After cropping me and my friend out from a picture I had, I placed us on a bench and added a bus stop sign. Then, I saturated colors of objects from the past such as ourself, bench, and bus stop. Everything except objects from the past have colors because they are in "present". I cropped another picture of us taken this summer out, and placed behind a bench to show the sequence of our "history". The text describes how we met, and how the event affected me. I had my title as, "Always" because it means "forever", and "all the time" which defines our friendship.

Personal Narrative
I only had this one image of me and my friend on my computer. I had to somewhat make us look like we are waiting for our moms to come pick us up. I added bus stop sign and saturated colors of everything from the past.

Movie Poster "Home Alone"
First, I took a picture with photo booth making a surprised expression. Then, I cropped out my face and altered color balance. It had to have more red and yellow. Using a dodge and burn tool, I made my face to blend in to the original poster. I also used a blur tool so it does not look awkward.

Digital Nation: Life on the Virtual Frontier
"Digital Nation: Life on the Virtual Frontier" presents what it means to live in a 21st century digital world. Technology has taken possessions of our lives so much that it over-affects our lives than it should have been. The document allows us to consider the issue of excessive usage of technology in our times. Multitasking is one issue that the document brought up. The director interviewed some MIT students who had to be connected to internet 24/7. Allowed to use their laptops in class, they constantly surf the internet or text which does not disturb them from concentrating on the class. They proudly said they are great multitaskers. However, after the test, it turned out they were terrible at every aspect of multitasking. They get distract easily. Technology lowers people's performances, rather than increasing. Moreover, technology has invented game addiction. People get immersed in their games and are confused what is real and what is not. To solve these problems, Korean government decided to teach young kids internet etiquette so they use it properly since they are the next generation whose lives are connected to internet and use it more than ever.

Considerable/Indifferent
It was an Environmental Science class that made me to consider the issue of recycling. I learned that although the amount of plastic bottles recycled has increased, the actual rate remains at around 27percent. I became very considerable of the plastic recycling, and try my best to recycle every bottle I drink.
I adjusted image size, levels, color balance first, and posterized the image. Then, I changed color balance on the bottle image which I got from an internet. I copied and pasted to make a background. After that, I pasted the recycling logo which I also changed the color. Then, I pasted the recycling bin which originally said "CAN", but I changed to "PLASTIC".

I was 9years old when 9/11 attack happened. I was indifferent because I was too young to realize the gravity of the situation. The attack was not touching at all for me mostly because it happened in a different country where I have never been to. I was too young to feel the seriousness and damage of the attack. I still remember the day of a grief and horror was an ordinary day for me. For that reason, I chose myself to be indifferent when buildings are falling down in the image.
I cropped out myself from an image I had before. Then, I attached a brick image, a window image, and a building-destroying image. I decided to put a text inside of the window, but it seemed text inside (where I am) would fit better, so I put it on the menu I am reading.

Nostalgia
After changing image size, levels and resolution, I posterized the image. With the magic wand tool, I clicked onto other colors. Then, I clicked option and delete to fill the area.
Friendship
I adjusted image color, levels, resolution and color balance. Then I changed RGB image to grayscale to change it to bitmap. I changed foreground and background colors, and then with magic wand tool, I clicked the black area. Then, I used the gradient tool to drag over the white pixels.
Reminisce
I adjusted image size, levels and resolution first. Then, I adjusted threshold and altered colors by changing foreground and background colors.
