The director interviewed some MIT students who had to be connected to internet 24/7. Allowed to use their laptops in class, they constantly surf the internet or text which does not disturb them from concentrating on the class. They proudly said they are great multitaskers. However, after the test, it turned out they were terrible at every aspect of multitasking. They get distract easily. Technology lowers people's performances, rather than increasing. Moreover, technology has invented game addiction. People get immersed in their games and are confused what is real and what is not.
